Every once in a while I manage to nail it. While this task is pretty effortless when it comes to photographing my clients, it is a challenge like no other when it comes to my OWN little munchkins. They are WAY too familiar with the camera and even more familiar with what NOT to do in front of it. Really, this is only problematic when it comes to trying to get ALL FOUR doing what I want them to do…and of course, I’m SUPER picky…because I’m the one with them mental image of what I want, where I want it to go in my home, how I’m going to frame it etc. My brain is funky that way…I can actually see the general image in my mind, but more importantly HOW I will process it in Photoshop to be just what I want. Often I see what it will look like in black and white while I’m taking it….this was one of those times. I couldn’t be happier!

OH, these were glorious! These two were my favorite images from this impromptu session. A friend of mine had her baby and I asked if I could take a couple pictures...since my own baby decided not to cooperate when she was first born...should've flown Kara out (STILL regret it!) THEN on the way to my friends house I blew out my tire. And by "blow out" ...I mean create a 3 inch GASH in the side wall.
He was awake most of the time. And konked out just as I was leaving. The light was gone anyway, thanks to that tire delay ;)
